Regas (Regasification) and Pressure Control Systems
What Is Regas? Regasification and Gas Metering Stations
Regas (regasification) is the controlled heating of liquefied gases (LNG, LPG, liquid CO₂, nitrogen, oxygen, argon) to convert them from liquid to gas phase and bring them to the appropriate pressure and flow rate for grid or process use. At Akce Engineering, we deliver vaporizers, pressure reduction and metering stations, and gas control equipment as a single integrated system — including engineering, manufacturing, and commissioning — on a turnkey basis.
Regas and Pressure Control System Components:
- Vaporizers: Atmospheric (ambient air) or Water Bath type for converting liquefied gas to gas phase.
- Pressure Reduction Station: Safe transition from high pressure to process/grid pressure; pilot-controlled regulators.
- Gas Metering Station: Flow measurement, temperature/pressure compensation, meters and data logging (EN 12186 / EN 12279 compliant).
- Safety and Filtration: Shut-off (SAV) and relief valves, filter/separator, rupture disc; ATEX and CE compliant equipment.
- Automation / SCADA: Remote monitoring, alarms, and data acquisition for full control.
Applications: LNG satellite stations, natural gas supply for industrial facilities, LPG vaporisation plants, cryogenic gas distribution points, power plants, and cogeneration.
